Vanilla Planifolia, is a type of spice that is cultivated because of its fragrant seeds. This plant originates from Mexico, but is now widely grown in Madagascar, as well as other tropical regions, including Indonesia. 

This type of vanilla has a fairly strong aroma and has a length of up to 20 cm. Planifolia is widely used in the culinary industry, especially in the manufacture of cakes and desserts.
