Premium Indonesia Vanilla Tahitensis Beans

Vanilla Tahitensis

Vanilla Tahitensis is a type of vanilla bean that mainly grow in Tahiti and other South Pacific islands, which has a unique characteristic in the form of a flavor profile that tends to be stronger than the Planifolia type. This type of Tahitensis also has a higher water content, shorter and thicker seed size, darker brown color, and a more oily outside.

Tahitensis contains less vanillin and more heliotropin when compared to other types, which gives it a unique aroma. Tahitensis Vanilla is often used in desserts and drinks that require a vanilla flavor, or sometimes as a vanilla extract and paste.
